Espadrille

The word of the day is 3 1/2 inch espadrilles. A shoe usually having a fabric upper part and a sole made of a flexible material, such as rope or rubber. Noun, French origin.

Free Stuff

So I noticed a couple of neighbors are doing some major remodelling. Their lots have been turned into building sites, and of course building sites mean-- building materials! So I raided this dumpster for some wood.

Sore nipple

For some reason one of my nipples is sore, chaffing? Good thing I found this band aid, what a huge relief.

The Ride

Went to Sunset Beach, got in the water for the first time since October, lost a lot of conditioning. Good thing the waves were small today, but soon my arms got so heavy it felt like they were tied down. Couple of dolphins got real effing close, but I ran out of batteries, didn't get a shot of them. All the good stuff in life, you get one good ride and you're hooked for life. Junkie. Must reach higher heights, see the next turn, no such thing as limits. There's only the ride on the rising crest.

Digging through old pictures

For eight grade we had a brokeback day, complete with cross dressing indians.

Myself

So I took a picture and my reflection was in it, I looked familiar, I though thats me, different from the guy in pictures and videos. Those guys always look weird, whats left is right and whats right is left, awkward. Then I thought, man thats what everybody sees. Its like the decals on my van I'm walking around looking like ALCU. Haha I think I look better through the looking glass. Whats with me and mirrors lately, did I catch somekind of wicked-step-mother syndrome?

New Car

I really liked the yellow 03 WRX but turns out I can get better financing on a brand new car so this is what I got. Its different from my 03. My 03 was rougher, you can feel the road, this one is quieter. The seats are one piece too, non removable headrests. Its got better brakes and a better engine though so thats a plus.

>>So today I got my car tinted and the asian guy who was showing me the shades of tint points out two shades and says, "since you're asian these shades will work for you." I had no idea what he meant. I felt like I was trying to buy makeup at the cosmetic counter at Nordstroms. Does that mean if I was black I would have to get a lighter or darker shade? What if I get a tan? I want to see a hispanic client sales pitch, "Dude you're so gonna get profiled by the po-po if you get 6 on the front. You better go with 43 all around!" Anyway they did a pretty good job, I did go with what he recommended, hey I don't do my own major surgeries, I leave that to professionals, or at least people with parchments on the wall. He and his boss recommended Titanuim 43 on the front and Titanium 13 on the rear. So if you need a tint go to Pro-Tint in Temple City on Rosemead Blvd.Don't forget to bargain and bring cash money (they don't charge you tax if you pay with greenbacks).

In the rear view

Or in the drivers seat?

Totalled

So the insurance company has deemed my car a total loss. I saw it Monday when I took off the crossbars, spare tire and rear view mirror. The front left corner of the frame is completely manged and caved in. So now they will be scouring local ads to determine the value of the payoff.

>>Fight it!!! It says you 100% at fault cuz you made contact with a stationary object. Maybe it ran into YOU. hehehe Sucks though, I like how they leave out the fact that you hydroplaned and lost control of the car. They make it sound like you were wreckless and just ran into a wall.
