Panty Tree

Scott, Scott Lee and I went to Snow Summit yesterday. While on the lift we saw this panty tree. The panties didn't come out well in the photo but I'm more than curious to know how the girls got the panties off lift and on the tree. Next year I want a Christmas tree decorated with panties and bras.

News from Ray

Ray wrote back, letter dated 3-7-03. Ray got activated by the Marines over Winter Break and has had to put his grad studies at GWU on hold. Ray writes from Camp Ryan somewhere in the Kuwaiti desert, he thanks us for sending him music and says the weather is nice except during sandstorms. Elements of his brigade have pushed to Nassiriya and his unit is probably gearing up for action. Ray said he hopes to be back for graduation so hopefully we'll see him in June. The Marines have also activated Adam and his unit was deployed last week, so be safe in the front Adam.

Protest

The protesters blocked off parts of Wilshire this week. So today they took their outrage to another level, since federal employees don't work on weekends they took the fight to the CNN building. Apparently they're now protesting their lack of coverage. I can't blame the networks though they've wet their pants over this "embed" thing. It has made this the war with the fastest turn around to comedy. I turn on CNN and theres an embed crawled behind a sand berm while three Iraqis pop out of a hot pink Toyota with a machine gun on top and give themselves up. I heard their gear sucked but I wasn't expecting Barbie's dream troop transport.

Food Poisoning

Just as I finish all my fimals I get blessed with hives due to food poisoning. It looks like it was the Rubios fish taco that did it. I've been bed-ridden for most of the week from large doses of anti-histamines.

Crash

Bad day at work. The worse thing possible happened at work today, the most important disk with all the latest UNBACKED-UP Polar post-processed data crashed. At the very least we've lost one platter since it sounds like one of the heads failed and started to make a horrible scrapping sound. To make a bad day even worse I have a paper due tomorrow.

Lent

Today is the first day of the 40 days of Lent. It's a time of sacrifice symbolizing the sacrifice that Jesus made. Like Jesus in the desert we must resist the devil's overtures.

Vandals

The stop sign on our street got "altered." Actually I've become a bit of a Bush supporter, if he learns himself some international diplomacy and gets his team to formulate a non-retarded tax plan then I might actually vote for the buckaroo.
