karoshi

One of my favorite German words is schadenfreude, which is enjoyment taken from the misfortune of someone else. I like it because the particular type of enjoyment was actually common enough to warrant its own word. Well now I just found my new favorite Japanese word. Karoshi. They kind of go together actually.

Dodger game

great weekend, went to a couple of dodger games.

Beach after work

it was hot as hell so I watched people at the beach all afternoon.

Angeles crest

rode up to angeles crest to check out some trails. Some good road and some good dirt up there.

Gas brutal

I have a small car and it cost me this much to fill up. Liberating carbon and energy ain't cheap.
