My fotojournal is back!

I started using Google Apps for free rather than paying for hosting to keep my email and fotojournal online so as a result I migrated my journal to blogger. Back when I got my first camera phone in 2002 I was really excited about the awesome 320x240 pixel pictures it took so I started this journal to upload my pics and messages from it. There was no such thing as photo blogging or tweeting so I just scripted my own stuff. But now blogger can do it so with some python coding I migrated my old blog over.

So if you're really curious you can read on about my life from 2002 to 2008. Its mostly boring and/or embarrassing.

Angeles Crest

Rode up Angeles Crest, this time with a bunch of random people from thumpertalk. Pretty good ride, went up to Newcomb pass and had some pancakes. Here's a pic of a bunch of Suzukis.

karoshi

One of my favorite German words is schadenfreude, which is enjoyment taken from the misfortune of someone else. I like it because the particular type of enjoyment was actually common enough to warrant its own word. Well now I just found my new favorite Japanese word. Karoshi. They kind of go together actually.
